My journey of resilience and storytelling

I’m Carlee Brown, and I write emotional women's fiction and contemporary romance for readers who have survived more than they ever thought they could. My stories are inspired by the belief that no matter how broken someone feels, their story isn't over. Having rebuilt my own life after addiction and other difficult experiences, I know healing isn't a straight line—and that's what I write about. My characters aren't perfect. They're flawed, resilient, and learning to believe in themselves again. If my books leave one reader feeling seen, understood, or hopeful, then I've accomplished what I set out to do. I love being an author and I just want my readers to love my books just as much as I do.

Stories of hope and brokenness

I write about hope and brokenness. I started chasing my dream of being an author, and that gave me hope in rebuilding my life rather than giving up or throwing away my second chance in life. My books delve into the complexities of human experience, offering narratives where characters find strength in vulnerability and new beginnings after challenging chapters. Each story is crafted to resonate deeply, encouraging readers to reflect on their own resilience.

Messages of change and healing

Rather than writing perfect characters, I write about people who are messy, hurting, and trying again. That perspective comes from believing people can change and heal, even after difficult chapters in their lives. I hope readers take away a sense of being seen and understood, knowing that their own imperfect journeys are valid and hold the potential for profound healing and transformation. My aim is to inspire belief in second chances and the power of resilience.

"Carleel Brown's books are a beacon of hope for anyone who feels broken. Her characters are so real, and their journeys of healing are truly inspiring."
